24 New Covid -19 Positive Cases in Sampson
COVID-19 TESTING REPORT FOR JUNE 9, 2020
Sampson County Health Department is reporting 24 new cases over the weekend which brings the total to 630 positive cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of this date.
COVID testing numbers for Sampson County as of June 9, 2020:
Total Number of Tests Performed: 1805
Positive Test Results: 630 (395 recovered)
Negative Test Results: 1083
Pending Results: 92
Deaths: 4
The Health Department, in collaboration with Sampson County Emergency Management and Goshen Medical, will hold a FREE Drive Thru Testing Event this Saturday, June 13 from 9 am until 3 pm (or until supplies last) on the Sampson County Complex. No pre-registration is required. Participants are asked to bring their Medicare, Medicaid or insurance card with them. While there is no charge for the test, this allows the Health Department to recoup some of their expenses.
