🎸 Congrats to Fitch Rock Band Instructor John Anthony on being invited by the Jimi Hendrix Estate to attend the unveiling of Jimi Hendrix Way in NYC.

John, also a member of The Vindys, was recognized for his work as both an educator and musician. We’re proud to see him representing Fitch and Austintown Local Schools on this national stage!

While today’s state semifinal ended in a 4-0 loss to Lancaster, this team accomplished so much and made our entire community proud. From a regional championship to a trip to the state tournament, these Falcons gave us a season to remember. ❤️💙

Our school community came together this morning for a special clap out to send off our State qualifiers!

Thank you to everyone who lined the route, cheered, and showed their Falcon spirit as we celebrated Sophomore Braeden Sallee and our undefeated Fitch Softball team before they head to their state competitions.

We are proud of these outstanding student-athletes and can’t wait to see them represent our school on the biggest stage.

While school may be out for the summer, we’re inviting our Falcon family and community to help keep a special tradition alive!

Join us tomorrow, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. as we celebrate and send off two outstanding state qualifiers:

🥎 Our Fitch Softball Team, currently 25-0 and Regional Champions, as they head to the State Semifinals at Firestone Stadium on Wednesday.

🏆 Sophomore Braeden Sallee, who has qualified for the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships in the high jump and will compete Sunday in Columbus.

The outdoor clap lap will begin at the new athletic facility, travel toward the north circle of Fitch, around the building, and finish at the south circle. We encourage everyone to line the route, cheer loudly, and help send these student-athletes off with the support they deserve!

Let’s show our Falcon pride and wish them the best of luck at State!
