VDR HELP NEEDED IN MANOR!

These are the dates I have for Voting Registration Booths. If you are a VDR and want to help let me know. If you can interpret Spanish I need people who can also. As you can see I have two events on Oct. 7. Last year we had to cancel one of them because we did not have enough people to cover. Please contact Bonny Krahn for more information and to sign-up.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s participation at the public forum last night! The level of engagement was incredible, and exemplified the need to have an all inclusive space for an open dialogue. The opportunity to exchange information is essential for truly educating the public from all sides and breaking barriers for progress. We look forward to many more opportunities to educate, empower, and engage the community even further- so that everyone can be better equipped to advocate for the community’s best interest.

This Saturday we'll be meeting at Govalle Park located at 5200 Bolm Road for "Fiesta Del Barrio" to register voters from 11am-2pm, and then we'll be joining Battleground Texas and Wendy Davis at our Coordinated Campaign Headquarters located at 1910 E. MLK for a blockwalk at 3:30pm! Please feel free to invite others!

Once again, we had a very productive meeting! We still need more volunteers and resources to help fully materialize the Diversity Outreach program, but we're getting a better idea of how to combine our efforts. The next meeting will be next Saturday at the Juneteenth Parade, so please join us at 9am on the corner of Comal and MLK!
