It’s that time the year to prepare for the first day of school and meet the teachers! Kids and parents at Wooten Elementary filled the cafeteria with excitement as they collected backpacks, supplies and information and their classes.

We want to thank our community partners Toyota of Cedar Park, PHP Agency The Front Door Company, City Limits Subaru, Men As Allies, Bethany United Methodist Church whose contributions helped to make this a successful back to school event for Wooten kids.

Constable 5 partnered with H.A.T.C (Housing Authority of Travis County) for Operation Backpack: free community event designed to help prepare children for the upcoming school year by providing backpacks, school supplies.

Shop till you drop this TAX-FREE WEEKEND but just a reminder that disabled parking spaces are reserved for those with disabled parking placards or disabled license plates only.

Our deputies will be patrolling shopping malls, grocery stores and other high traffic retail areas to identify and cite violators.

If you park illegally in a disabled parking space it will result in a $500 fine! It's not worth the risk!

Travis County Community Centers are open as cooling centers.

A donation barrel is on site ready for donations to be dropped off!
