Commonly referred to simply as "Dove Springs", it makes up most of the 78744 zip code. This is where we live, work, play, worship and experience community. With over 50,000 people calling Dove Springs home, it's not hard to see the rich and diverse cultures we are blessed to engage each day. Although there is much to celebrate in our ever growing and changing community, we also understand the chal

lenges our neighbors face. Dove Springs at a glance...
*Individual incomes in Dove Springs are nearly half that of the rest of Texas.
*Texas Education Agency reports that nearly 95% of elementary students in Dove Springs are considered economically disadvantaged.
*United Way for Greater Austin reports that 67% of middle school students in Dove Springs had factors that put them at-risk for dropping out of high school.
*95% of children in Dove Springs receive free or reduced lunches at school. Impact Now Dove Springs was created to help address some these challenges. Our mission is to provide needed resources and foster relationships to impact and empower our community. We currently have 2 exciting programs...
-Impact Learning. Providing a safe after school program with educational support. Providing local families with good healthy food and access to resource navigators for State programs (CHIP, Lone Star Card and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families).

Help Us Feed 250 Families This Thanksgiving!

Impact Now Dove Springs is raising $13,000 to provide 250 turkey dinners with all the sides for local families in need.

Each meal costs $52 — your gift today will bring hope and a full table to a family this Thanksgiving.

I’m a little late posting this. Thank you to Restore Austin and The Vine youth groups for coming and volunteering with us. We got so much work done and had a great time doing it. We packed bags, built new shelves, painted, unloaded the food delivery and a bunch of other small projects. Thanks again for helping the community!
