Choosing Her Own Way

One of our clients did all of this work herself, and that matters. After so long being tightly controlled, choosing to create on her own is a powerful step toward independence and self-expression.

She even left the face open. To us, that feels meaningful, like a quiet statement that she wants to be seen, known, and is beginning to recognize the parts of herself she loves.

Gratitude That Multiplies

During a recent gratitude circle, one reflection stood out, being thankful for the ability to redistribute bulk food, like bread, that we receive in quantities beyond what we can use.

It is more than logistics. It is about building bridges, connecting with others, and making sure nothing goes to waste while needs still exist.

Moments like this remind us that provision does not stop with us. It expands through partnership, shared resources, and a wider community working together.

Gratitude grows when what we receive continues to serve others beyond us.
