👏 Congratulations to Texas Desalination Association's Board Member, Steven Walden, for being awarded the 2025 AWWA Distinguished Public Service Award! "This award is presented in recognition of distinguished public service outside the line of duty and in support of AWWA's principal of providing better water for people," quoted in the letter from American Water Works Association CEO, David LaFrance.

The letter continues: "Steven Walden’s passionate lifetime of dedication to the water industry has been impactful, just as his commitment to exceptional community volunteerism has benefited his local community and beyond with global missions. His outstanding public service and selfless leadership towards betterment of communities everywhere is well deserving of this Distinguished Public Service Award."

The award will be presented to Steven during AWWA's 2025 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE) in Denver, CO.
