Community Outdoor Outreach Program Grants - Texas Parks and Wildlife The CO-OP grant helps to introduce under-served populations to the services, programs, and sites of Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.

CO-OP grants help communities get outside and introduce new audiences to TPWD sites, programs, and staff with projects that provide outdoor skills, conservation, and environmental education. Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations, schools, municipalities, counties, cities, and other tax-exempt groups. Funds may be used for direct program costs for outdoor recreation or environmental educat

Life is Better Outside-- Rain or Shine!! What an amazing Texas State Park trip for 2024 CO-OP Grantee, Alief Montessori Community School. This project supports youth outdoor leadership skills, with students researching parks and leading trip planning, camp set-up and take down, cooking and cleaning an outdoor kitchen, First Aid, Leave No Trace, and even a dutch oven cook-off. Thank you to the school leadership and teachers for all the time and effort it takes to ensure a successful grant project!
