The clip of Retired Vice Admiral Robert "Bob" Harward from America's Newsroom has become a strange viral conspiracy theory, as to many, Bob appears to be wearing some kind of prosthetic mask.
One viral post on Twitter compared Harward's appearance to a previous viral video of Jim Carrey, where people claimed he looked like he was wearing a mask.
However, some experts and fact-checkers explain that close-up frames from the broadcast showed pronounced skin folds around Harward's neck and a comparatively smooth facial appearance under studio lighting.
