Trulove Montessori is expanding our team!
We are currently hiring a Guide for our 3-6 community. This person is ready to oversee the growth and safety of children ages 3 -6.This person has a passion for learning, enjoys planning projects, and may be found sitting on the floor alongside children in a mess of daily creations.
The ideal candidate has prior knowledge of the social and emotional aspects of children ages 3-6, has worked in a preschool setting, and is a team player.
Candidates are required to attend two weeks of on-site training, be CPR and first aid certified, and complete a background and fingerprint check by the state of Texas.
Hours of work are M-F 12:00-6:00 Pm

This person is ready to oversee the growth and safety of children ages 3 -6 and has a nurturing rapport. This person has a passion for learning, enjoys planning projects, and may be found sitting on the floor alongside children in a mess of daily creations.

The ideal candidate has prior knowledge of the social and emotional aspects of children ages 3-6, has worked in a preschool setting, and is a team player.

After School Teacher (Austin)

Trulove Montessori is looking for an energetic, nurturing, reliable individual to join our team August 10th, 2020! We are a small school in the Allendale neighborhood that focuses on whole child learning in a natural environment. Candidate must have prior childcare experience and love the outdoors, as we do spend much time in the garden.

Hours: 12:00 - 6:00pm

Job responsibilities:

Punctual and responsible.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment, supervising children in care at all times.
Assist children in handwashing, meals, toileting, outdoor play time and individual play time.
Prepare and conduct art projects and group activities with children, daily.
Assist children and parents in daily departure transitions.
Maintain a clean and organized environment at all times.
Maintain orderly notes and portfolios of children in care.
Wear comfortable, appropriate work attire, in addition to a face mask, at all times.
Experience with children's yoga and/or gardening, a plus!

Job requirements:

High school diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older.
Valid CPR & First Aid certificate, or the willingness to acquire such prior to employment.
Able to pass a background and fingerprint check through TX DFPS.
Prior experience working or volunteering in a classroom setting with children ages 2-6yo.
Can individually manage a small group of children.
Understanding of Early Childhood Education and holistic education practices, as well as the ability to apply this knowledge to interactions with children in care.
Able to move actively, getting up and down often, to interact with children.
Able to enjoy outdoor experiences at all times of the year with children.
Can fulfill the position until January of 2021 or further.
