This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their lives believing in the promise of this country.

We also hold close the families who carried that sacrifice long after the uniforms were folded away.

At FEN-PAC, we believe honoring that sacrifice means more than ceremonies and speeches. It means continuing the work of building a country where freedom is something people can actually live with dignity.

A country where veterans can come home to opportunity.
Where working people can support their families.
Where communities are not abandoned when industries disappear.
Where every person willing to work has the right to contribute, earn, build, and belong.

That’s the vision behind the New Jersey Job Guarantee.

Not jobs handed down from distant corporations chasing the next tax break.
Jobs created by our communities, for our communities. Work tied to real needs, real neighborhoods, real people, and a future worth investing in together.

Today we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, our security, and our ability to keep building this country forward.

And tomorrow, we continue that work.

Share a job idea.
Build the future.

Around here, people have gotten used to jobs that feel temporary before they even start.

A contract comes in.
A few people get hired.
Everybody hears promises about opportunity and investment.
Then six months later the work disappears and the neighborhood is expected to survive the fallout all over again.

After a while, people stop calling it bad luck.

The truth is, a lot of communities in New Jersey have been stuck in an economy where stability always seems to belong to somebody else.

That’s why more people are starting to organize around the idea that jobs should actually lead somewhere. That communities should have a say in what gets built, who gets hired, and whether the work is still there next year.

The people pushing this conversation forward aren’t polished political insiders. Most of them are just people who are tired of watching the same cycle repeat itself in places they care about.

If that hits home for you, comment NJWORKS.

Some people are waiting for the next election cycle.

Other people are preparing their communities right now.

We're looking for organizers, activists, trusted voices, neighborhood leaders, mutual aid workers, labor people, church leaders, and politically engaged residents who understand what's at stake in the years ahead.

This isn't about becoming a politician.

This is about learning how to organize people, move resources, build pressure, and fight for economic stability in our communities through a New Jersey Job Guarantee.

If you've been looking for a real way to plug in beyond posting and reacting online, this is it.

Type NJWorks and let's talk.

Unemployment insurance was built for a different economy.

An economy where:
• one job could support a family
• housing was cheaper
• healthcare costs were lower
• gig work barely existed

That economy is gone.

Today, too many people are:
• working multiple jobs
• one paycheck from crisis
• losing benefits when work disappears
• falling through the cracks entirely

Temporary checks alone are not economic security.

A Job Guarantee offers a different path:
• living wage jobs
• stronger communities
• public investment
• meaningful work that meets real needs
• economic dignity for working people

The work already exists.
People are ready to work.
New Jersey can do better.

Comment “NJWORKS” to:
• learn more about the campaign
• get involved locally
• receive organizing updates
• access the volunteer-to-paid pathway for Relational Organizer opportunities

To every mother carrying the weight of work, caregiving, bills, sacrifice, and hope for a better future for their children:

We see you.

A Job Guarantee is about more than employment. It’s about dignity. Stability. Time with family. The ability to care for your children without choosing between survival and rest.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers who keep our communities going every single day, often without the support they deserve.

New Jersey has the people, the talent, and the heart.
Now we organize for an economy that works for families.

Happy Mother’s Day!

New Jersey does not lack work that needs to be done.

Our schools need teachers.
Our seniors need care.
Our communities need infrastructure, broadband access, climate resilience, public transportation, and investment.

Yet thousands of skilled people remain unemployed, underemployed, or economically unstable while critical public needs go unmet.

That is not a workforce failure.
That is a policy choice.

The NJ Job Guarantee Campaign is organizing to fight for an economy that puts people, communities, and public good before corporate neglect and political inaction.

We’re building grassroots power to demand jobs that meet real community needs and create pathways to leadership, stability, and economic dignity.

If you’re ready to organize, volunteer, learn more, or potentially qualify for future paid Relational Organizer opportunities, type NJWORKS in the comments.

Let’s build something bigger than survival.
Let’s organize for full employment now.

Something is building here in New Jersey.

Over the past week we have been having real conversations, one on one, about what people in this state actually need. Not just what sounds good. What is missing from their communities right now.

And the same things keep coming up. Care work. Youth programs. Housing support. Jobs that serve the people who live here.

When working people across NJ start identifying those same needs and organizing around them, that creates the kind of collective voice that legislators cannot dismiss.

Because this is not just about ideas. It is about moving a Job Guarantee bill through the legislative process.

Bill filing. Committee hearing. Floor vote. Governor signs it into law.
At every stage, organized people are what make it happen.

If this matters to you, let's build. Bring someone else in.

Regular people across NJ can create the jobs we need.

Here are some ideas we put together: Youth Mentor, Community Care Worker, Housing Stability Advocate, Relational Organizer, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Community Health Worker.

Real jobs. Real needs. Already exist in communities that just do not have the funding to pay people to do them.

A Job Guarantee changes that. The government funds the jobs. Communities decide what gets created.

But before we take this to legislators, we want to hear from you. Are you feeling these jobs? What would you add? What is missing from your neighborhood?

Drop it in the comments. We are reading and engaging with every single one.

Your community has needs.
Your neighbors want to work.
But the jobs aren't there.

That's not an accident. That's a policy choice.

A Job Guarantee changes that. YOUR government works with real residents, not corporations, not lobbyists, to identify what communities need and creates jobs to meet those needs.

So we want to know: if your community could create new jobs tomorrow, what should those jobs focus on? What needs should they address?

Drop your ideas in the comments. Every idea gets seen.

Also, if you've ever thought about working in organizing or politics but couldn't find a real path in, let us know. We're building that path right now in NJ.

Type NJWorks and we'll reach out directly.
