Yesterday, we were visited by the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations as part of their conference being held in Galveston. It was such a pleasure getting to talk to these folks about Central's ministry and show them around our building. Thank you all so much for stopping by!

This week we will celebrate World CLT Day! World CLT Day is spearheaded by the
International Center for Community Land Trusts International Center for Community Land Trusts (https://cltweb.org/) and this event is a
chance to spotlight our diverse CLT community, showcase your impactful projects to
peers worldwide, and celebrate affordable housing, land justice, and community
empowerment.
To commemorate World CLT Day The European Community Land Trust Network
(https://www.clteurope.org/ ) will hold its first General Assembly in Berlin on 17th-18th
May 2024, hosted by Stadtbodenstiftung. Other CLTs around the world will celebrate
with events, forums, social media posts, community service, and highlighting their
current efforts to provide quality affordable housing and permanently affordable spaces
in their cities.

Registration for the 2024 Texas Community Development Summit is now open! Join us APRIL 7th-9th!

TACDC is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 Texas Community Development Conference April 7-9 with an optional training on the 10th. The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center. Our 31st annual conference promises breakouts galore, 3-5 plenary sessions, lunch keynote speakers, a community development tour (Tuesday afternoon) AND an additional 3/4 day training on the Community Reinvestment Act (Wednesday).

Staff is working diligently to put together a great agenda to keep you up to date on community development in Texas. Agenda details are coming soon and will be posted as they are finalized.
