During Teacher Appreciation Week, we offer a shout out to all our Teachers of the Deaf, itinerant teachers, ECI providers, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff who build our kids' learning experiences, plus the educational interpreters who faithfully provide in class support each day. Hey y'all,

In May, my class is hosting the 3rd Annual Adulting Day which is a day I started after seeing the viral video of the high school that shut the school down for a day and taught kids what they really needed to learn- HOW TO ADULT. You know, change a tire, cook, open a bank account etc.

The project has evolved and this year the theme is THE GAME OF DEAF LIFE. We will mimic the game by giving choice of the CARRER path or the COLLEGE path just like in the old board game. But the difference is we will be doing it in a LIFE SIZE way!!!

Im super excited but we need some help to make it a memorable day they will never forget!
