📍 TCCE Annual Conference 2026: See You Soon in Abilene!
We're just days away from welcoming chamber professionals from across Texas to Abilene for the 2026 TCCE Annual Conference!

A few quick reminders as you finalize your travel plans:

🏨 The conference will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene Downtown Convention Center.

🚗 Thanks to our hosts at the Abilene Chamber and the City of Abilene, conference attendees may park in the reserved city parking lot directly in front of the hotel at no charge—saving you the hotel's standard valet parking fees.

👔 Conference Attire: Business Casual
The conference sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday are business casual. We also recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater, as the ballroom and meeting spaces may be chilly.

🎤 Conference Schedule
Tuesday and Wednesday will feature general sessions each morning through lunch, followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon. Expect plenty of practical ideas, professional development, peer learning, and networking opportunities throughout the conference.

🎉 Monday Welcome Reception
Join us Monday evening at The Grace Museum from 5:00–7:00 p.m. for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, networking, live entertainment, a silent disco, caricature artist, rooftop co****le, and more. Please note that this reception includes drinks and appetizers, but dinner will not be provided. TCCE staff will depart from the front of the hotel at 4:30 p.m. for the short walk to the museum.

🎶 Tuesday Night Networking Event
After a full day of learning, join us at 201 Mesquite for dinner, live music, and networking with chamber leaders from across Texas. Shuttle service will run continuously between the hotel and venue beginning at 6:00 p.m.

🕵️‍♀️ Wednesday Excellence Awards Banquet: Abilene After Dark
One of TCCE's favorite traditions returns as we celebrate chamber excellence from across Texas.

Attire: Cocktail Attire | Prohibition-Era Inspired Attire Encouraged
Guests who would like to embrace the evening's Speakeasy-themed celebration are welcome to bring out their vintage-inspired cocktail attire, fedoras, suspenders, flapper-inspired fashion, and other 1920s-inspired looks.

Themed attire is completely optional, but we hope you'll join in the fun!

🎟️ Don't forget to participate in our Travel Around TCCE Passport Game! Visit sponsor and exhibitor booths throughout the conference for a chance to win:

What an incredible day of peer-driven learning at the recent TCCE Chamber Basics Workshop in Denison!

A huge thank you to the Denison Chamber and our outstanding venue host, Grayson College, for helping create such a welcoming and collaborative environment for chamber professionals from across the region.

We especially want to recognize Diana Theall, President & CEO of the Denison Chamber, for her leadership and hospitality. Her commitment to strengthening the chamber profession and creating opportunities for connection and growth was evident throughout the entire day!

Thank you as well to our generous sponsor, Community Matters, Inc. for supporting this workshop and for taking the time during lunch to engage directly with attendees, answer thoughtful questions, and participate in meaningful conversations about the real challenges and opportunities chambers are navigating today.

We are also incredibly grateful to our workshop speakers and facilitators who shared practical insights, real-world experiences, and honest peer-to-peer guidance throughout the day:

• Diana Theall — Denison Area Chamber of Commerce
• RaDonna Hessel — Grapevine Chamber of Commerce
• Lisa Flowers — Parker County Chamber of Commerce
• Lori Walker — Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce

The conversations throughout the day reinforced just how valuable chamber-to-chamber learning can be. From building stronger volunteer engagement strategies to simplifying board governance to discussing budgeting realities and event revenue growth, attendees didn’t just hear presentations; they exchanged ideas, asked tough questions, and workshopped real solutions together.

These peer connections and candid conversations are what make Chamber Basics such a valuable experience!

And we’re already looking ahead to the next one! Chamber professionals in the Central Texas region are invited to join us for the next TCCE Chamber Basics Workshop in Bastrop, hosted by the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce on August 18, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. We look forward to continuing these important conversations, sharing practical ideas, and creating more opportunities for chamber professionals to learn from peers across Texas!
