Texas takes on Ohio State this weekend 🤘

If you’re heading to the game, make heat safety part of your plan. Start drinking water early, keep hydrating throughout the day and consider bringing electrolyte packets to help replace what you lose in the heat. ☀️

Wear sunscreen, take breaks from the heat when you can and pay attention to how you’re feeling. UTPD officers will be in and around DKR throughout game day to help keep our community safe.

For our community’s awareness, at approximately 10:18 p.m. last night (Sept. 8th), Austin Police Department, with assistance from UTPD, arrested Colton Banks for peeping into windows in the 2200 block of San Gabriel Street in West Campus. Banks was released this afternoon. He is the same suspect APD arrested Aug. 17 for similar conduct. As a reminder, we encourage you to be aware of your surroundings, make sure you always lock your doors and windows, and contact law enforcement by dialing 911 or through the LiveSafe app if you see anything suspicious.
