We are pleased to recognize Safety Officer Marc Maziarz on his five-year anniversary with the District. Marc conducts comprehensive safety inspections across District facilities and fleet vehicles, enforces safety protocols, and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Marc is also part of the team that manages the District’s safety education program, developing training seminars and advising staff on critical safety topics.

He monitors complex filtration systems, conducts testing and adjusts chemical treatments to ensure contaminants are properly treated for safe disposal.
