Last minute survey opportunity! The Larry A. Green Center regularly surveys front-line primary care clinicians about their response and capacity in an ever-changing payment and policy environment. The latest focuses on the roles of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in primary care. Anonymous, closes at midnight, June 11.

Coming up June 25, from the American Association of People with Disabilities: free virtual screening of On the Moov, a documentary amplifying the voices of disabled students navigating accessibility barriers in higher education and highlighting the work to reshape campuses accessibility through community.

This screening will include introduction and remarks from On the Moov's founder (and fellow Texan!) Fabiola Amaya!

Get involved! The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking new members for the Policy Council for Children and Families. This body works to improve the coordination, quality, efficiency, and outcomes of services provided to children with disabilities and their families through the state's health, education, and human services systems. Learn more and apply by July 3!

If you are interested in improving services for families of children who have a disability, you may want to apply to be a member of the Policy Council for Children and Families.

Next week, Thursday, June 4, Mosaic of Minds opens in Austin! Funded by a grant from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, teachers and students at McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy created "Mosaic of Minds,” a work of ceramic sculpture and glass mosaic focusing on human expression and mental health experience. A public unveiling ceremony will take place the afternoon of June 4 at the AISD Performing Arts Center to introduce their work to the wider community.

Last fall, the Hogg Foundation awarded a $14,000 grant to the Austin Independent School District (AISD) to promote mental health awareness through public art. Teachers and students at McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy created “Mosaic of Minds,” a work of ceramic sculpture and glass mosaic focusing on human expression and mental health experience. On June 4, we will host a public unveiling ceremony at the AISD Performing Arts Center to introduce their work to the wider community. Please join us!
