📣 Sandy Creek neighbors!

Travis County services at the Disaster Assistance Center at Round Mountain Baptist Church will transition to a new location after March 27, 2026.

Flood recovery case management will be available at the Jonestown Community Center beginning March 30, 2026.

📢 Sandy Creek Area Flood Recovery Update:

The Disaster Assistance Center at Round Mountain Baptist Church will remain open through March 27, 2026. As recovery efforts continue, disaster case management services will transition to the Travis County Jonestown Community Center beginning March 30.

🕗 Flood Recovery Assistance:
Disaster case managers available Monday through Friday during regular business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). Drop-in hours: Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m.

At the Jonestown Community Center, residents can access:
✔️ Disaster recovery support and disaster case management
✔️ Help applying for benefits and assistance programs
✔️ Food pantry services
✔️ Social services and resource navigation
✔️ Public computer access

Travis County departments and community partners will continue to support residents affected by the floods with disaster case management, resource navigation and connections to recovery programs. Services remain available through Travis County departments and nonprofit partners, including the Travis County Recovery Alliance and Endeavors.

📢 July 5 Flood Recovery Update for Sandy Creek Residents

Travis County Health and Human Services staff have updated drop-in hours at the Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) at Round Mountain Baptist Church (14500 Round Mountain Rd., Leander).

🕒 Upcoming drop-in hours:

• Wednesday, March 11 – 3 to 6 p.m.
• Thursday, March 12 – 3 to 6 p.m.

• Wednesday, March 18 – 3 to 6 p.m.
• Thursday, March 19 – 3 to 6 p.m.

• Wednesday, March 25 – 2 to 5 p.m.

Residents can drop by during these hours to speak with someone from Travis County Health and Human Services.

📣 We need your input! How can Travis County serve Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) communities?

Travis County is gathering feedback to better support low- and moderate-income families, seniors, youth, and people with disabilities in Bee Cave, Creedmoor, Lago Vista, Lakeway, Manor, San Leanna, Sunset Valley, West Lake Hills, Webberville, and unincorporated areas.

💵 $1.7 million in CDBG funding is available, and your voice will help decide how it’s used.

Additionally, the Travis County Commissioners Court voting session scheduled for 1/27 has been postponed to Thursday (1/29).
