Although my supporters were disappointed in the special election’s outcome, I believe everything will be as it should. I extend an olive branch and sincere congratulations to Chito Vela for his victory as District 4’s newest City Council Member! We’ve already been in contact and I am excited to work together for the betterment of District 4! Stay tuned. I intend to continue the community strengthening and ensuring our voices are heard at City Hall in a meaningful way. We’re better together. A special thank you to my wonderful campaign team, family, friends and volunteers who made this journey possible. It was a fun, exciting and full of learning experience. Wow.
I am honored, humbled, and appreciative of the many people who supported my campaign- a big thank you to all of you! I want to thank my campaign team and my wonderful family, friends and volunteers who made this journey possible with special thanks to Mary Ingle, Megan Meisenbach, Marc Duchen, Mary Ann Notzon, Ashton Rondon, Sandy Ramirez-McNaul, Laura Templeton, Scooter Cheatham, David Butts and many others behind the scenes. I have had the honor of connecting with incredibly caring people and the personal discussions with fellow D4 residents was motivating. Thank you to Cecelia Burke for her sound advice! We appreciate all the hard work that propelled this time-crunched special election campaign to the finish. You are all so generous and I am truly grateful.
