CONSTRUCTION UPDATE!

Due to the weather, construction has been rescheduled for the retaining wall project located off Belterra Drive between Harris and Estes Drive on the West side of the street. The new construction dates are Monday, April 27th and Tuesday, April 28th.

During this time, the sidewalk in this section will be closed to ensure safety. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed within a few days.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this work.

Belterra Residents,

We continue to remain in close communication with the West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA) regarding their water tank levels.

According to WTCPUA, the issues this morning were caused by depleted tank levels on the Hwy 290 system due to operational maintenance activities combined with the WTCPUA system’s limited capacity. The tanks have begun to refill; however, WTCPUA has advised that the process will take additional time before levels are fully restored.
The latest update indicates that overall tank levels are improving, though recovery may take several more hours depending on customer location. The Dripping Springs Elevated Storage Tank remains low, but the STEM tank has refilled.

Please note, this is a WTCPUA issue, not a Hays County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 & No. 2 (HCWCID) issue. The WTCPUA is also asking customers on their 290 system to refrain from using irrigation systems at this time to help system levels recover more quickly.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely, stay in regular contact with WTCPUA, and share updates as they become available.

If you did not receive this notification via email or text, please contact our office at 512-686-1660 to ensure your contact information is up to date and that you are properly signed up to receive all resident notifications.

Due equipment failure, the West Travis County PUA, a provider of water for Hays County WCID 1 (PWS ID TX1050137) has issued a boil water notice. TCEQ has required us to issue this public notice and to tell all our customers that they should boil their water prior to consumption.
