Court services are increasingly available online, by telephone, email, and through the mail which contributes to compliance in a customer service and eco-friendy way. The courts adjudicate Class C misdemeanor cases most of which are criminal, including traffic, city ordinance, state code, juvenile, and disabled parki

ng. Camera at Red Light violations are civil (non-criminal) cases as are most parking violations. The four court divisions are Judiciary, Court Operations, Support Services, and the Downtown Austin Community Court (DACC). The court is made up of more than 170 employees.

The Austin Municipal Court online payment portal at https://austin-portal.ecourt.com/public-portal/?q=node/419 is currently under maintenance. If you would like to make a payment, please call (512) 974-4800 during standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. Thank you for your patience.

Austin Municipal Court (AMC) is proud to announce that the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center (TMCEC) has awarded us a Texas Municipal Traffic Safety Initiatives (MTSI) Traffic Safety Award in the High-Volume category for the seventh year in a row. This award highlights our ongoing efforts to educate the community about the importance of traffic safety by sharing traffic safety materials at public outreach events, participating in national programs like Teen Driver Safety Week, and providing youth traffic safety classes.

Come by our table at the Hope Fest this Saturday.

HopeFest is a family resource fair serving thousands of people in the Northeast (formerly Reagan) Early College High School/northeast Austin area. Each year, over 170 exhibitors bring health, housing, employment, education, dental, prenatal, immigration, and other resources to support local families in a day filled with fun, children's activities, free lunch, and live music, with over 4,500 attendees.

Austin Municipal Court staff had a blast at the 6th Annual Police Austin ISD Trunk or Treat this past weekend. We enjoyed handing out coloring books, traffic safety information, and candy to 944 children and their families.
