Longhorn EMS LEMS is an agency of SG that works to serve the community. You DO NOT have to be an EMT to join!

Longhorn EMS is an agency of Student Government composed of certified EMTs and ambitious volunteers who are interested in serving the community. We dedicate our time and experience to healthcare-related volunteer work and aim to make changes on campus to improve safety. We continue to educate the community with public health initiatives such as Stop the Bleed with Dell Medical School, Take 10 CPR, Sobering Center, American Heart Association, and more.

With just one day left till the new semester begins, here are some reasons to join Longhorn EMS:

LEMS is a student org that's dedicated to advocating for public health. We work events such as ACL, Formula One, and Longhorn Run, and teach public health workshops to orgs all across campus. Additionally, LEMS provides opportunities for shadowing, joining ATCEMS ride outs, hearing from guest speakers and medical school panels, and meeting new friends.

Anyone can join, either as an EMT responder, or non EMT support team member!
