Common Questions and Their Answers
Topic: Pool Passes

❓Question: How much are Family Passes?
Answer: $130 for up to a family of 6

❓Question: Who can be on a Family Pass?
Answer: 6 people! This could be a Mom, Dad, and 4 kids or one parent and 5 kids. Our family passes are intended for up to 2 grown ups and the (up to) 4 kids that they claim as dependents (and reside in their household).

❓Question: What if we have more than 6 people in our family?
Answer: The cost for additional people to be added to a Family Season Pass is $15 per person.

❓Question: What about Individual Season Passes?
Answer: The cost of an Individual Season Pass for Individuals 10 and over is $60. The cost of an Individual Season Pass for Individuals 9 and under is $50. Please remember that someone over 21 must purchase this pass and someone over the age of 14 must accompany anyone age 9 or under.

❓Question: Do you offer a “Grandparent Pass”?
Answer: No. If you have a grandparent that will be frequently coming (example: as the adult in charge of your children 9 and under), we recommend that you add them to your family pass ($15). If the grandparent will be coming to the pool on their own, we recommend they purchase their own pass.

❓Question: Will you sell out of pool passes?
Answer: No! We recommend you “do the math” on what is best for your family. Look at the price of what daily admission will cost your family, and how many times you would have to come for the pass to “pay for itself.”

❓Question: Will the price of pool passes decrease as the summer goes on?
Answer: No.

❓Question: Is it worth it to buy a pool pass?
Answer: Some people have asked if they “should” buy a season pass. We recommend you calculate how much a daily visit would cost your family. Something to consider is how long you plan for each of your visits to last. Daily admission is the same no matter when you arrive at the pool and how long your visit is. Some families like to come for one to two hours each day, if they have little ones. By having a family pass, some feel like they don’t need to be there all day to “get their money's worth”.

Common Questions and Their Answers
Topic: Swimming Lessons

❓Question: How many kids are in group lessons?
Answer: We cap our group lessons with 10 students. We have different numbers of instructors, depending on the levels. Preschool has 5 teachers (1 teacher per 2 students), Levels 1 and 2 have 3 teachers (1 teacher for every “3.5” students), Levels 3 and 4 have 2 teachers (1 teacher for every 5 students) and Levels 5 and 6 have 1 teacher (1 teacher for 10 students).

❓Question: What are the differences between group lessons and private lessons?
Answer: Group lessons are set weeks while private lessons are scheduled with a lifeguard. The cost of group lessons is $30 and the cost of private lessons is $75. The fee for group lessons goes directly to the pool while the fee for private lessons goes directly to the lifeguard. Group lessons provide opportunities to practice skills through watching peers and games. Private lessons provide opportunities for one-on-one instruction.

❓Question: Will group lessons fill up?
Answer: Some levels fill up more quickly than others!

❓Question: What are the prices?
Answer: Group lessons are $30 (for 5, 45 minute sessions) and private lessons are $75 (for 5, 30 minute sessions).

❓Question: How can I sign up for group lessons?
Answer: Please come down to the pool to sign up in person. We ask that you pay for the class while signing up ($30, cash or check).

❓Question: How can I sign up for private lessons?
Answer: You can reach out to a lifeguard directly. You can also contact the pool to share your information: Child’s Name, Adult’s Name, Contact Phone Number, Weeks available or weeks unavailable, time availability (morning of 8am-12:30pm or evenings of 5pm-6pm), lifeguard requested, and any additional information we would need to know. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to grant you request, but we will try our best.

❓Question: What is Parent/Child Aquatics?
Answer: You may have heard this type of class referred to as “Mommy and Me”, however it is for any parent! This class is designed to offer information and support for parents introducing their child to the water in a safe and supporting environment. Techniques and tips on how a parent can support positive exploration of the water are given. ONE parent MUST be in the water with their child throughout the whole class. This class is intended for swimmers aged 6 months to 3 years.

❓Question: How are levels determined?
Answer: What level you should enroll your swimmer in will depend on their skills (and somewhat their age). If you are unsure, speak with a staff member and we can help determine a good starting level. If your child is not appropriately placed, we can move them to a different level (if enrolled in group lessons).
