The City’s 2026 Chip Seal Project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 27, weather permitting.
Work is expected to be completed in one day, with flaggers on-site to guide traffic.The contractor is expected to return the following day to apply a fog seal.
Please avoid parking on streets affected by the work until it is complete.

Update: roadwork will continue May 19th, 2026 on Lilac Ave.

Skinner Striping will be doing road work on Lilac Ave, Monday, May 18th, 2026. The plan is to do one lane at a time starting around 7:30am.
This will depend on the weather.

April 28th, 2026 there will be a one-lane closure from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on N Broadway in Aurora. Brookings Municipal Utilities will be working on a water line. There will be flaggers on site to help with traffic.
