4-H & Nebraska Extension in Hamilton Co. Nebraska Extension's mission is to help Nebraskans enhance their lives through research-based information.

Nebraska Extension provides practical education that focuses on issues which influence daily life and helps keep Nebraska competitive in a global society. Our staff delivers research-based information via a variety of methods through a federal, state and county partnership arrangement. Hamilton County Extension educators, assistants and support staff specialize in providing programs that contribute to more than 1.5 million educational contacts in Nebraska each year. Statewide, 4-H touches the lives of more than 90,000 youth each year. Extension specialists and educators are committed to a theme of excellence with educational programs customized to meet the needs of Nebraskans.

National 4-H Week is the start of a new 4-H year and enrollment is NOW OPEN! If you are enrolling in 4‑H for the first time, you must contact your local Nebraska Extension Office before beginning the 4‑H Online enrollment process. There is no fee for officially enrolling as a Nebraska 4‑H member; however, counties or clubs may require enrollment fees. Learn more at 4h.unl.edu/enroll and enroll today!
