Getting ready for the Step Up Walk on September 27th? Here’s everything *NEW* you need to know about parking before you head out!

🅿️ Where to Park:

Primary Parking: Manual High School - 1700 E 28th Ave, Denver, CO 80205
Shuttles run every 7-10 minutes to pick up and drop off participants at City Park.

There will also be very limited street parking available in and around City Park.

Accessible Parking: Available at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science

Arrival Tip: Parking fills up fast! We recommend arriving by 8:00 AM to park, check in, and grab a spot before the walk beings at 9:00 AM.

Park Drop-Off: Shuttles will arrive to the City Park drop-off on the East side of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science parking lot. This is also a designated drop-off point for families, strollers, etc.

Through Higher Visions for Education (HVE), adults with Down syndrome continue growing on college campuses across Colorado, building skills for adulthood in budgeting, vocational training, wellness, and the arts, all while making lifelong friends.

Every step you take helps keep these programs moving forward! With 16 days left until the Step Up for Down Syndrome walk in Denver, you still have time to join a walk team or donate to support lifelong learning and independence for adults with Down syndrome.

Dinner plans for Saturday? Make them delicious and support a great cause at the same time!

Join us at Chipotle in Castle Rock on Saturday, September 12th, from 4–8 p.m. Chipotle will donate 25% of qualifying event sales to the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association!

The money raised will help move us closer to our fundraising goal and support RMDSA’s programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families, including education, resources, community programs, and support through every stage of life.
