🛝 Welcome to a Place Where Everybody Plays!

We’re excited to see the Hamilton County Inclusive Playground open and welcoming families from Aurora and throughout the area!

This incredible new playground provides a place where children of all abilities can play, explore and enjoy time together. It’s another great addition to our community and another reason to be proud of what we can accomplish when people come together with a shared vision.

At the Aurora Development Corporation, we believe strong communities are built by investing in the places and opportunities that make people want to live, work and grow here.

Welcome to the Hamilton County Inclusive Playground! We can’t wait to see families enjoying it for years to come. ❤️

Opportunity Grows Here.

Today, the gates opened—and the playground we have planned for, fundraised for, and watched come to life was finally filled with what it was built for: KIDS PLAYING! 🛝🎉

Seeing children of all abilities playing side by side, families exploring the space, and our community gathered together made every challenge, delay, decision, and detail along the way completely worth it.

The Hamilton County Inclusive Playground belongs to our community now, and we hope it will be a place where friendships are made, differences are celebrated, barriers are removed, and everyone feels like they belong.

To every donor, volunteer, business, organization, contractor, supporter, and person who believed in this project—thank you. You helped turn an idea into something that will serve families for generations.

The playground is officially OPEN! ❤️💜🧡

Getting around the playground should be part of the fun--not a barrier!

Our accessible surfacing, ramps and wide pathways create smooth routes throughout the playground for wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and little feet alike. You'll also notice color changes in the surfacing around moving equipment, providing visual contrast to help people with visual impairments to more easily identify areas where movement may occur.

Because thoughtful details can make a big difference in inclusive play!💜❤🧡
