Organization of Latin American Students

Organization of Latin American Students OLAS' main goal is to promote a positive image of Latinos at WVHS and in the community. We use this page to meet that goal.

THE PURPOSE OF OLAS HAS THREE PARTS.
1.TO SERVE AS A GENERAL SUPPORT GROUP FOR ITS MEMBERS AND ALL LATINO STUDENTS AT WAUBONSIE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL.
2.TO EDUCATE OLAS MEMBERS AND THE WAUBONSIE VALLEY COMMUNITY ABOUT THE DIVERSE LATINO CULTURES.
3.TO FOSTER AWARENESS OF OURSELVES AS STUDENTS, CITIZENS, AND LATINOS. ALSO, TO PROMOTE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITIES THROUGH SERVICE AND DIRECT ACTION.
