✨Help Shape the Future Brand of the Aurora Area

The Aurora Area CVB Convention & Visitors Bureau (AACVB) is exploring a new regional brand that can represent the communities we serve: Aurora, Batavia, Big Rock, Elburn, Geneva, Hinckley, Montgomery, North Aurora, Oswego, Plano, Sugar Grove, Yorkville, and Greater Kendall County.
Certified by the State of Illinois and in partnership with the Illinois Office of Tourism, the Aurora Area CVB is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to marketing and promoting the region as a premier overnight destination. Our goal is to enhance the economic and environmental well-being of our region and attract overnight business to area hotels. You may learn more about us by browsing our website and reading our annual visitor publication, the Go Guide, at enjoyaurora.com.
This survey is about your perspective: there are no right or wrong answers, and your input will help inform the future brand platform for the region. This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Some, but not all, fields are marked as required.

Have questions about how recent policy changes could affect healthcare or food assistance programs? 💛

Understanding complex legislation isn't always easy, especially when it may impact resources that many families rely on.

Join presenters from the Protect Our Care Illinois Coalition (POCIL) for an informative discussion about HR1 and its potential impact on Illinois residents who use:

🏥 Medicaid
💙 Affordable Care Act health plans
🥫 SNAP food assistance

Come learn, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how these changes could affect our communities.

📍 Attend in person or join virtually via Zoom.

☀️ENROLL TODAY: City of Aurora Launches Community Solar Partnership
The City of Aurora, in partnership with Ampion, is excited to launch a new community solar program that can help residents save up to 10% on electric bills!
The program allows residents to
subscribe to a local solar farm and get credits applied directly to their utility bills at a 10% discount.
The clean power generated by solar farms is sent to the power grid. Your share of the solar farm's output generates solar credits, which are then applied to your monthly electric bill. You pay the discounted utility bill through your same utility provider.
There are no sign-up fees, no installation needed, and you can keep your current electricity provider!
🏡 Spaces in this program are limited. Residents have two weeks to lock in a guaranteed savings rate on solar credits. For more information, please visit https://www.aurora.il.us/News-articles/Solar-Program-Launch

🔋⚡️Be sure to have a copy of your current electric bill when completing the online application!

🏡✨ We are thrilled to announce that the City Council has officially approved Kingsley Row by M/I Homes—a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind residential development bringing 185 brand-new townhomes near Ogden Avenue and 75th Street!

“Kingsley Row” is a subdivision planned for construction by M/I Homes will exceed standard base building codes, prioritizing energy efficiency and a reduction in environmental impact. By conforming to energy efficiency standards of the Stretch Code each home will use less energy for heating, cooling, and lighting, plus improve indoor air quality and occupant health. This project requires zero City incentives and will also include the extension of Commons Road, which will support local businesses along the Ogden Avenue and Route 59 corridor.

🌱 Buildings account for over 35% of carbon emissions. Upgrading these construction methods helps achieve long-term climate targets while lowering rising utility bills for residents.
