THANK YOU, Aurora! It is a great honor to have the voters place their trust in my leadership for this community. You have a person who will place ALL kids, present and future, at the heart of debate and decisions. You have a person who has the experience and expertise to help lead us into an uncertain future. You have a person who works for kids with integrity and transparency. Your support means so much! You can count on me to work alongside the rest of the Board to support the District, especially our students, teachers, and administrators, to ensure continued improvement and excellence.

A board member who knows school law is extremely valuable! School Boards must have someone. Yes, we have attorneys; but attorneys react, they do not plan for the District. Legal deadlines, timelines, and procedures that must be met throughout the year can be missed and might prevent the Board from taking certain actions. I keep my eye on these things in order protect the District.
