Smoke Alarm Saturday 2026 is in the bag!

Distributed everyone the state provided to us, those that participated were very greatfull
And opened their homes for us to come in and install their detectors and educate them on smoke detector safety.

Today is Smoke Alarm Saturday — a great reminder to help protect your home and loved ones from fire.

Working smoke alarms provide critical early warning and can save lives. Take a few minutes today to make sure your alarms are working properly.

✔️ Test every smoke alarm in your home
✔️ Replace batteries if needed
✔️ Check the manufacture date — replace alarms older than 10 years
✔️ Practice your family escape plan
✔️ Make sure everyone knows two ways out

❄️☃️🚨💨🌨️❗️The weather is upon us and with the temps already being low it has been sticking from the start. Roads are slick and vehicles are sliding around county deputies are reporting accidents with low visibility. Family dollar has closed southern mart is closing by 430, Valero gas station at time of this post will only remain open till 8 and Aulander grocery is closed. There's no reason to venture into town if you don't need to and if you need to please use caution . Will continue to update. ❄️☃️🚨💨🌨️❗️

For those who have followed us already thank you and it is greatly appreciated!
