We honor the innocent lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the first responders who ran toward danger to protect others.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we’re reminded that supporting our law enforcement officers starts with awareness, understanding, and looking out for one another. We’re sharing this resource from the International Association of Chiefs of Police to help agencies and officers strengthen su***de prevention efforts.

Preventing su***de requires awareness, education, and a commitment to supporting one another.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, IACP encourages agencies, leaders, officers, and communities to learn about the resources that are available to help save lives and foster a culture of wellness.

One resource available to support these efforts is the Law Enforcement Su***de Prevention Toolkit, which provides practical guidance to help agencies strengthen their approach to su***de prevention. Created by the National Consortium on Preventing Law Enforcement Su***de ™, the Toolkit is comprised of:

Today we’re celebrating someone who truly is the heart of the Richmond County Marshal’s Office. Rhonda Evans is the person who keeps things moving, keeps us organized, and somehow always makes sure everything gets done.

Her dedication, hard work, and care for our RCMO family make a difference every single day. We’re incredibly grateful for all that she does!
