It's more than tutoring. It's recognizing that sometimes the obstacle keeping a child from learning isn't something that happens inside the classroom.
Through wrap-around services, RISE Augusta can help address needs like an eye exam and glasses. Maybe a student is coming to school hungry. Maybe they need additional support outside the classroom.
The goal is simple: look at the whole child and help remove barriers that stand between them and success. Every child's needs are different. And that's why RISE Augusta's wrap-around services are intentionally customized to meet individual needs.
This is what community support can look like when we move beyond simply asking, “How is this student doing?” and start asking, “What does this student need?”
