Drill weekends come and go, but the people and the training stay with us forever. SSG Mitchell instructed the unit on the new rifle qualification tables this weekend. SSG Mitchell is moving on from the MRU as a 68W Instructor. If Saturday is anything to go by, SSG, we know you'll do just fine. The MRU also gave a temporary goodbye to SSG Dumdie. SSG Dumdie is crossing the U.S yet again to pursue medical school. The next time you see him, you best have your heels together!

The MRU is proud to have promoted two of its members. SGT Mooney and SSG Letourneau. SGT Mooney is an excellent addition to the NCO corps and will continue to improve those around her. SSG Letourneau has been an outstanding NCO and medic for years, and the added responsibility suits her well.

Medics and medical officers of the MRU received excellent hands-on training in suturing wounds.

Another successful Drill Weekend! Congratulations to 1LT Pray on her promotion, we are honored to repose special trust and confidence in her patriotism!

The MRU said goodbye to two of its members this weekend. SPC Boivin has decided to conclude her service in the Maine Army National Guard. She's hanging up the jersey but we wish her well and thank her for her service.

CPT Duarte, has been one of our dentists at MRU for many MANY PHAs. And this weekend we wished him well as he is IST'ing to another state. But don't worry, Sir we will keep flossing.
