Iowans are invited to join the Iowa 4-H State Council in a statewide effort to give back through a hygiene drive supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities. The drive will bring together 4-H clubs, families, counties and communities across Iowa to collect essential personal care items and make a meaningful difference for families in need.

The initiative, led by the Iowa 4-H State Council’s service and outreach efforts, encourages donations of new, travel-size toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, shaving cream and mouthwash. Items can be dropped off at your local Extension office through Monday, June 8.

A big deadline is coming up fast! Make sure to have ALL beef, sheep, goats, swine, horse, dog and dairy that members plan to exhibit during the 2026 fair season is ID'd in 4-H Online by May 15th. This is completed using the "Animals" tab on 4-H Online: https://4honline.com/ #/user/sign-in

If you plan to exhibit swine at the Iowa State Fair, DNA samples must be collected and returned to the Audubon County Extension office by May 14. Reminder OFFICE IS CLOSED MAY 15.
