Sadly, it looks like the Baxter Outdoors Lost Valley Frozen 5km Snowshoe and Winter Duathlon scheduled for Saturday 1/29 has been cancelled. But the Torchlight Parade and Fireworks are still on at Lost Valley!! Let's kick off WinterFest 2022 in style... ❄️

Go take a stroll on the Riverwalk! Our friends at Auburn Public Works clears the snow every storm so you can enjoy the Storywalk year round!

Be sure to check out the January "StoryWalk," which embraces the new year by featuring a collection of photos that celebrate and depict “A Fresh Start” and "A Blank Canvas.” Residents & visitors are encouraged to take a stroll along Auburn’s beautiful Riverwalk to enjoy the scenery along the Androscoggin as well as the Storywalk presentation.

It’s official, Winter Fest 2021 will happen!!! May look a little different but we want to make sure the community gets out and enjoys all of Auburns winter activities ALL Winter long!

Join us for Auburn's 2021 Winter Festival (January 29-31)! WinterFest will look a *little* different this year, with COVID restrictions and crowd size limitations. But winter in Auburn is still AMAZING! The City of Auburn urges you and your family to GET OUTSIDE and enjoy the magic of winter.

Sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, ice fishing...soon, we will publish a list and map featuring lots of ways to get out and enjoy winter in Auburn. In the meantime, if your organization or business is planning to offer a fun, safe winter activity, let us know and we will help promote it!

The sun is coming out and United New Auburn Association is all set up at Sherwood Heights Elementary
School for Family Sunday Funday! Snowshoes are available for those who need them, both adult and kid sizes. Unfortunately the ice skating rink did not make it thru the rain but Norway Savings Bank Arena has public skate later today.
