Semper Fi Dinner marks the culmination of a year of challenges, growth, and commitment within our Marine Platoon. A proud tradition where each senior selects an underclassman to design and present a sledgehammer—symbolizing their time in Auburn and Tuskegee NROTC. This tradition honors Eugene Sledge, an Auburn Alumni, a US Marine, and the legacy he left behind.

Giving back to the community 🐾

Our midshipmen spent time at the CARE Humane Society, getting outside with the dogs, going on walks, and making sure each one got the attention and care they deserve. Opportunities like this remind us that leadership starts with service—whether it’s to our country or our community.

Firstie Friday ⚓️

Meet MIDN 1/C Kennedy Brooks, a senior from North Texas, majoring in Business Administration and Marketing.

Kennedy stays busy both in and out of the unit—as an entrepreneur, Auburn University Diamond Doll, Stage Manager for the ACC Production Team, and a United States Marine.

She owns Kennedy’s Specialty Cookies, a custom cookie business where she designs and creates products for a variety of events while working directly with Auburn Athletics. This has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her time at Auburn and has allowed her to build meaningful connections along the way.

Outside of school and NROTC, Kennedy enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family. She also loves exploring new coffee shops and taking trips to the beach whenever she can.
