We had a wonderful time this week with a group of our littlest patrons building homemade terrariums! The event was part of the library's Summer Reading Program, which includes hands on crafting projects like this one. Check our website for upcoming project events! Sidenote: Many apologies for my terrible photographic oopsie where I cut off the young man's head on the last photo. Mom, if you have a shot, send it my way. Thank you to everyone for participating!

Friends! The library is in the final week before out huge, annual book sale and we've run out of empty cardboard boxes. Can you help us? Book donations are coming faster than we can sort and store them. If anyone in the community would like to donate their empty, good condition boxes (office paper boxes work best) please drop them off at the library! Can you help us!

Wow, but what a grand time a group of our littlest patrons had today building and crafting miniature Garden Gnome House to take home! The event was part of the library's Summer Reading Program, which includes hands on crafting projects like this one. The kids got to build their gnome home out of material that included actually outdoor material like pine cones, leaves and branches. And they each received their very own 3-D printed gnome! Next up, on July 16, Plant a Terrarium! Thank you to everyone for participating!
