Student Association for Mentoring SAM works with today's youth in the Auburn Area to develop personal relationships that will be beneficial to both the mentor and the youth.

The Student Association for Mentoring (SAM) at Auburn University works with youth in the Auburn City and Lee County school systems to develop personal relationships that are beneficial to both the mentor and the student. Mentors will gain leadership skills and personal values that they will carry for a lifetime. Mentees have the opportunity to look up to an Auburn University student for moral and

academic guidance. Our goal is to be a positive influence while encouraging leadership and growth in young students’ lives.
