Auburn School District provides quality educational programs to all students through professionally trained, highly educated staff. The district encompasses a 62-mile area bridging King and Pierce counties, and serves approximately 96,000 residents in Auburn, Algona, Pacific, Lake Tapps and unincorporated areas of King County. Auburn School District is committed to fulfilling its mission of providing our 18,000 students with an education that, in a culture of equity and excellence, we engage, educate and empower each student for success beyond graduation. Auburn School District has three comprehensive high schools (grades 9-12), one alternative school (grades 6-12), four middle schools (grades 6-8), and 16 elementary schools (grades K-5). We house early learning programs at our elementary schools and offer life skills for students ages 18-21 in a Transition Assistance Program. The District reserves the right to remove inappropriate comments posted on social media it has created or owns and remove comments that are not relevant to the topic of the specific forum. This includes user- generated content that has obscene language or sexual content, threatens or defames any person or organization, violates the legal ownership interest of another party, supports or opposes political candidates or ballot propositions, promotes illegal activity, promotes commercial services or products, or is not topically related to the particular posting, or contains contents that promote, foster, or perpetuate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation.

ATTENTION: Special start times for middle & high schools on September 9.

Middle Schools:
All GRADE 6 students start at 7:40 a.m.
All GRADE 7 & 8 students start at 11:40 a.m. (4 hour late start)

High Schools
All GRADE 9 students start at 8:10 a.m. (West Auburn 7:55 a.m.)
All GRADE 10-12 students start at 12:10 p.m. (West Auburn 11:55 a.m.) (4 hour late start)

Breakfast will be served for grades 6 & 9, lunch will be available for all grades. Buses will run on the normal morning schedule and again four hours late.
