Thanks to the Auburn University Raptor Center for an AUsome event at the KPNC Amphitheater. And thanks to everyone who braved the thunder and incoming storms to learn more about these amazing birds of prey. We loved seeing the owls, kestrels, and Nova, the golden eagle up close! War Eagle!

We are bee-yond thankful to Ella Carlson from Troop 7018 who planted a pollinator garden behind the Environmental Education building as a part of her Girl Scout Gold Award. In addition she came and spent a morning with the preschool students talking about pollination and working with the kids to make rocks to decorate the garden. Ella has been a Girl Scout since kindergarten and a Forest Friend since she was a preschooler. We are so thankful for her gift to the KPNC and to our pollinator friends!
