I am running for the Placer Hills USD School Board.

We need bring back reason, and rational thought, for our schools. We need reasonable board members that are fiscally experienced, experienced in business, careful and moderate on policy, committed to student and staff safety, and committed to listening to all parents and the community. We need to get our schools back to normal for students, families, and teachers.

Many of our teachers are our neighbors. Many have lived in Placer Hills for years teaching generations of our children. We should appreciate their work, respect and support them.

President Reagan said trust but verify.

Every candidate running is a “Parent.” All of us are neighbors and good people. We just have different views and focus. I am asking you to make careful choices when voting.

Ask a real teacher in the community, don’t stop at Union Endorsements.

Ask a real teacher in our community are they comfortable with the outside groups now endorsing some of the candidates?

Ask a real teacher in our community are they concerned about outside group's policy ideas making it harder to prepare our students for success academically?

Ask a real teacher in our community what is being taught in their classrooms? (You will be proud!)

I have over 3 decades of volunteering, serving, and supporting public education. I am for building for our children's future.

You vote for more than one candidate this election. I would ask you also consider Geoff Anderson. Geoff is an educated, thoughtful, father in our community. Geoff and his wife have three young children, one at Sierra Hills School, and he is very engaged and informed. Geoff wants to build not tear down. He would be an excellent additional choice.

You have my commitment that I will listen to all parents and members of our community if elected, and always put student learning and achievement first in my decisions.

I am not funded by any outside groups. I don’t burn books, I read them.
