🔥🔥Structure Fire 🔥 🔥

Fleming Fire was dispatched at 18:17 hrs to a reported Structure Fire on Ridge Road Fleming. Fleming Car 5 arrived and confirmed active fire.

C-2, C-4, C-5, C-6, Engine 3, Engine 4, TP-2 and Truck 1 responded to the scene. Crews made an interior attack and extinguished bulk of fire within 10 minutes after arrival. Extensive overhaul was conducted and extinguished any hotspots found.

Red Cross was requested to scene to assist the homeowners.

Mutual aid received was Aurelius, Owasco, Scipio, Sennett, Throop and Union Springs Fire Departments.
Moravia and Poplar Ridge provided standby coverage for the area. Also on scene was Auburn City Ambulance, the cayuga County coordinators, county fire Investigators and the rehab team. Helping with traffic control was the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Police. Thank you for the help provided from all departments.

🔥🔥 Structure Fire 🔥 🔥

06:29 December 7th 2025 Fleming Fire was dispatched out to at structure fire on silver street Road Town of Fleming. Fleming car 6 arrived with owasco car one and found active residential fire with a single victim involved. A second alarm was called that activated Auburn, Aurelius, Throop, Sennett , Moravia Fire to the scene. Owasco engine 3 was front line attack with Fleming TP-2 arriving shortly after with additional manpower. The fire was placed under control approximately 30 minutes.

The cause of The fire is still currently under investigation by NYS OFPC Fire investigators and the cayuga county sheriff’s office.

On July 3rd Fleming co2 did a standby for the fireworks 💥 Fleming Engine 4 was stationed on the inland with 2 interior firefighters and pump operator. Squad 2, car 2. Was stationed at traffic circle. Go work by all.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the families and friends of the 2 officers that were killed in the line of duty. Rest in peace Lt Michael Hoosock and officer Michael Jensen. You will forever be remembered. 🙏💙🙏
