We love when our volunteers send pictures of doggy dates 🩵
Here is Wrangler in a wonderful date with Kristen. This is what she has to say about Wrangler: He was super affectionate and loved getting pets and giving out kisses. He was a little nervous at first but towards the end he was more relaxed and enjoyed chewing on a chew toy. He's a super sweet guy and such a great size!

Long walks help Goose manage his shelter stress and tummy troubles. He can become overstimulated when excited, so we’re looking for confident handlers who can help him practice good manners. Gastro-friendly treats are available for training—just in moderation.

A little extra time with Goose goes a long way! 💙

Our pups had a blast at the IHOP adoption event! Thank you to all of our volunteer dog handlers who helped out at this event. 🦮

For the rest of June, support CARE by going to the Auburn IHOP every Tuesday between 10am-5pm! They will be donating 10% of the sales made during Tuesdays at this time for the rest of the month 🥞

Hey volunteers!

Come walk some pups and show them some love ❤️🦮

Approved dog walkers can walk dogs from 8am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday and 8am-3pm on Mondays

In order to become an approved dog walker, you must complete the dog walking orientation plus 3 hours of shadowing with staff.

As a bonus, approved dog walkers can also take dogs out on doggy dates and volunteer with offsite events that require dog handling (see our pinned event post for some examples of events approved dog walkers can help with).

Help needed!!! Dog handlers (must be an approved dog walking volunteer) needed on June 21st at 8a in PeachTree City! A chance for up to 10 of our dogs to be adopted and trained through a special class. BUT, we can only bring the number of dogs as we have volunteers so please sign up to give our dogs a chance.
