With support from the College of Liberal Arts Office for Educational Affairs and the Center for Educational Outreach & Engagement Culture Bump, the Becoming the Beloved Community Collaborative is offering "free" culture competency, diversity and inclusion training Saturday, March 30th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Within the context of the unfortunate reality of racism, the call for the "Ku Klux Klan to Ride Again", sexism and all of the "isms" the Becoming the Beloved Community is offering a "free" one-day intergenerational and interfaith dialogue and intentional proactive work to get to know our neighbors. You do not have to be a member of a faith community to join us.

This is not a session to "make us feel good". This is a work in progress which will provide the space for us to work together to get to know one another -- as members of the human family and learn tools, language, and resources to continuously to use in the academic community and our local, national, and international community spaces.

Please register by contacting [email protected] .

Our Becoming the Beloved Community Culture Bump training will be held at the CASIC Building, Auburn Research Park, Room 109, 570 Devall Drive, Auburn.
Free breakfast and lunch is included.
