Every Student Has a Story 📖
More than 100 Kingsley Elementary fifth graders recently celebrated becoming published authors through their collaborative book, 20 Years Later. The project challenged students to imagine their future selves while building confidence, creativity, and literacy skills.
As part of the celebration, SCBF founders and authors Chip and Lisa St. Clair joined students to discuss storytelling, self-expression, and the power of sharing our experiences. Their message was simple: Everyone has a story worth telling.
At SCBF, we partner with schools, law enforcement, behavioral health organizations, and communities to strengthen the ecosystems that shape how people learn, grow, and thrive.
The project culminated in a published book featuring a page written by every student and earned official recognition from the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners for promoting literacy, creativity, and student achievement.
Congratulations to the students, educators, and Kingsley Area Schools for inspiring the next generation of writers, dreamers, and leaders. 🦋✨
