There will be a dumpster at the city hall starting today through next week. Please take advantage and use this as good time to get rid of items that need to be removed from your property. NO Tires. They must be taken to county road department for recycling.

The City of Aubrey is now accepting bids for the 2026 lawn care season. Please look over the flyer to ensure you are aware of our needs. We need a seperate bid for General Lawn Care & Sewer Lawn Care. Your bids should be on a monthly basis. Deadline to enter a bid is March 27th. Contact us if you have any questions.

Attention Aubrey property owners and or the individual who pays the property tax you will be receiving a letter in the mail within the next few days from the City of Aubrey. The City mailed out around 100 letters this week. Please read over the letter and the 3 ordinances attached. We voted to send to every property owner and /or tax payer a copy so everyone knows what is expected of them moving forward in to 2026.
Not everyone that receives a letter is out of complaince, But some of you are. Spring is just around the corner and this will be a great time to work on any lots that need cleaned up or any of the other matters that maybe causing you to be out of compliance. If you have a concern about your property please call the number on the letter - leave your name and number and your property address. We will return your call to go over any concerns you may have. Please take note EVERY property owner was mailed this letter. No one individual was singled out at this time.

Couple of public announcements :
1. We are under boil order. Please use proper precautions until boil order is removed. I heard on radio this morning If in need of bottle water there Is some at the Marianna fire department until supplies run out I would probably call before I made trip up there
2. Trash/ sanitation truck will not run this week due to roads still being hazardous. If you can get to town there is a public dumpster at the county road department.

I hope by now all the Aubrey residents have gotten a plan of action together if and when this winter storm rolls through.
Dress in layers if you do have to get out. Please have warm shelter for your animals with adequate food and water. Remember to check in with loved ones and neighbors.
By the weather map looks like we are in the light pink. So just prepare your walk ways for ice if you have to get out. No one wants an ER visit.

🎃TRUNKS:
All trunks must be set up on the ballfield by 2pm. We will block the road at 2pm. I suggest a tent just in case we have rain showers.

👻EVENT INFO:
Costume Contest will be begin at 3pm. Please go to the judging table located by the DJ and complete your registration form upon arrival. Winners will receive a trophy and a gift basket.

Trunk Contest, after the costume contest our judges will visit each trunk and decide on an overall winner. Winner will receive a trophy and a $100 Amazon gift card.

Trunk or Treat itself & the DJ will begin at 4pm. If you do not plan to participate in the costume contest, please arrive at 4. We are short on volunteers so we have to run the costume contest ourselves which pulls us away from our trunks to pass out candy.

💀FOOD:
We have 2 food vendors and 1 dessert vendor to serve you this year. Also the city will be selling S’mores next to the bonfire. Please show them some support and grab some delicious meals while your kiddos play.

Brooke Roberts & Samantha Sanders: Cake pops, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc.

🎃OTHER DETAILS:
Food/Dessert will be located in the parking lot. Inside seating is available. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of the event in the parking lot. We appreciate everyone being patient with us. Wear your rain boots and just let the kids enjoy themselves, even if it does rain. We enjoy hosting this event each year, and it continues to grow every year. We want everyone to come out and have a good relaxed family night. Please help us keep everything cleaned and utilize the trash cans. We look forward to seeing everyone.
