๐ถ Twas the Night Before AMC ๐ถ
โTwas the night before AMC, and all through the stands,
The field lay waiting for the best marching bands.
The uniforms hung, pressed crisp and with care,
In hopes that the judges soon would be there.
The drumline was dreaming of beats oh so tight,
While brass polished horns that gleamed in the light.
Color guard flags were folded just right,
As they practiced their tosses well into the night.
Directors reviewed every drill and each cue,
While parents packed coolers and concession snacks too.
Volunteers gathered their badges and lists,
Because when showtime beginsโno one can miss!
The buses will rumble before morning light,
With students whoโve practiced from dawn into night.
Their hearts full of rhythm, their steps sharp and clean,
Theyโre ready to march like youโve never seen!
The crowd will be roaring, the skies shining clear,
As music and motion fill up the atmosphere.
From near and from far, each band will play strong,
With passion and pride in every song.
So rest, dear Chaparrals, your moment is near,
Tomorrow the sounds of glory youโll hear.
For AMC day is coming at lastโ
Letโs make it a memory that forever will last!
