The Board of Directors held a regular meeting to discuss tax rate strategies, review infrastructure progress and police operations, and address administrative policy updates and community engagement efforts. Here is a breakdown of the topics discussed:
๐งProject Updates: Ongoing construction continues with the Artesia Water System Improvements at 39% complete (estimated completion date of March 2027), the UTRWD Regional Water Line at 66% complete (estimated completion date of June 2027), and the infrastructure for Phase 2 of the Prosper Elms Apartments only needing completion of the final punchlist to be deemed finished.
๐งWater Pressure & Drought Monitoring: Discussions were held regarding water pressure reports from UTRWD and the current Stage 2 drought restrictions.
๐ชงRight-of-Way Policies: The Board reviewed and adopted regulations governing the storage of items in the District right-of-way, including prohibitions on storage containers, construction materials, unauthorized traffic control devices, trailer storage, cargo storage, unauthorized equipment, and other private property.

This proposed tax rate results in little or no increase in what the average taxpayer paid in taxes last year. . Contact information for TxDOT projects was also added to the district website for residents with questions or complaints regarding roadway projects.
