What was once the dilapidated Green Valley Schoolhouse—forgotten and falling apart—has been reborn through their dedication, hard work, and love for community. Today, it stands as a welcoming community center, a living symbol of hope, service, and the lasting legacy of those who never stopped giving back.

Our annual car show is coming up on Saturday May 6 at Denton Cycle Center!

The Green Valley School opened its doors in 1919. For three decades, it served grades one through nine for children in the local community. In 1949, Denton ISD closed the school and transferred all the Green Valley students to Denton schools.

to the Green Valley School near Aubrey, Texas, c. 1950. The Green Valley school district organized in 1884 and later incorporated with Denton ISD in 1949. This school building was constructed in 1919.
